Cook it like the recipe or with leftover cooked rice. Ingredients:
2 c basmati rice. |
2 c water. |
5 tbs sunflower oil. |
1 carrot chopped. |
1 selery stalk chopped. |
5 sprigs parsley chopped. |
1 onion chopped. |
3 cloves garlic chopped. |
60 gr white cabbage or pak soy or bok soy chopped. |
3 tbs green peas. |
30 gr green beans. |
3 tbs soy sauce. |
1 ts sambal ( optionnal). |
a pinch of salt. |
Directions:
1. Wash the rice under streaming water and put 20 min in cold water, wash again and drain. 2. Put 2 c water in a pan add rice and bring to a boil, as soon as water boils, close heat and let rice cook till water is absorbed, (ca 10 min). 3. Take a deep frying pan or better a wok if available, put oil in and heat to high heat add all vegetables and stir fry 3 min, add rice and stir fry 5 min more, add soya sauce stir fry 1 min more, if necesary add a pinch of salt to taste, add sambal and mix well. 4. Serve hot. |
