Fried plantains used as a side dish with Spanish dishes Ingredients:
1 riped plantain (in banana family but larger) |
salt to taste |
1/4 vegetable oil |
Directions:
1. Peel Plaintain 2. Cut up into 10 slices about 1/8 thick 3. sprinkle with salt and set aside 4. In small frying pan heat oil 5. When oil is hot, add plantain slices 6. Turn when lightly browned 7. Remove when both sides are lightly browned 8. Serve with rice dishes 2 per person |
