Ingredients:
4 cup(s) elbow macaroni cooked, drained |
2 cup(s) cheddar cheese grated |
3 eggs beaten |
1/2 cup(s) sour cream |
4 tablespoon(s) butter cut into cubes |
1/2 teaspoon(s) salt |
1 cup(s) milk |
plain bread crumbs for dredging |
flour for dredging |
1 egg beaten |
peanut oil for frying |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350. Cook and drain macaroni, place in a large bowl while still hot. Add cheese and stir to melt and coat. In a different bowl combine 3 eggs, sour cream, butter, salt and milk, add to the past mixture. Pour in to baking dish and cook for 30-40 minutes. Heat 2 of oil in fryer to 350. Cook macaroni and cut in to 12-15 square. Dredge each square in flour, then egg followed by bread crumbs. Fry for about 1 minute per side, or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels, serve. |
