Fried Kool-Aid

The newest in fried foods. For very sweet treats use sweetened Kool-aid. (up to 1/2 c) for less sweet use the unsweetened (1/4 c)
Ingredients:
vegetable oil (for frying)
1/4 cup sweetened kool-aid drink mix
3 eggs
1/4 sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 cups milk
3 2/3 cups flour
Directions:
1. Make the batter by beating the eggs and sugar together.
2. Gradually add the milk and dry ingredients.
3. Preheat oil to 350°F.
4. Cook in hot vegetable oil until golden brown (a few minutes, depending on heat).
5. Cool on paper-towel covered tray for a few minutes, then dig in!
