Just a southern recipe... Our family loves this .. Hope you do to.. Ingredients:
3-4 cups yellow or white hominy |
3 slices chopped bacon |
3 tablespoon butter |
salt and pepper to taste |
1 chopped medium onion |
4-6 chopped jalapeno (optional) |
Directions:
1. Put the butter into a heavy cast iron skillet 2. Add chopped bacon stir until crisp.. 3. Remove bacon 4. Put hominey and rest of ingredents in pan and fry until the kernels are slightly brown. 5. Take off heat and add the bacon bits on top and serve! 6. Yummy! 7. Enjoy |
