For the person who won't touch anything green. An old southern favorite taught to me by my mother. Ingredients:
2 cans green beans |
vegetable oil |
garlic salt |
pepper |
Directions:
1. open cans of green beans and pour into skillet. Pour 1/2 inch oil into skillet 2. Season to taste. I usually add about 2 tsp garlic and 1/4 pepper. 3. Other variations are dipping the beans in a batter of flour and eggs and deep frying. |
