Fried Dandelion Blossoms

A great way to temporarily rid your lawn of dandelions and make them worthwhile picking. Make sure your lawn has not been treated with any chemicals first!
Ingredients:
pick any amount of dandelion blossoms (the unopened bud only not the stem) you wish to serve.
Directions:
1. soak blossoms in salt water for 20 minutes (1 qt water and 1/4 cup salt)
2. rinse well and squeeze out any excess water
3. roll in flour and fry blossoms in enough butter to keep them from burning.
4. keep heat low and brown well
5. add salt and pepper to taste.
6. **note you can also use extra virgin olive oil and butter combination here.
7. Serve as you would any vegetable
