This is a great dish for BBQs-or anytime, but it is quick, easy, simple. I double this recipe just for my family of four-it is loved so much. Ingredients:
1 (28 ounce) bag frozen whole corn |
3 tablespoons bacon grease |
1/4 cup butter or 1/4 cup margarine |
3 ounces bacon bits (not the hard bits) |
salt |
sugar |
Directions:
1. In a large non-stick skillet melt butter and grease until bubbling hot. 2. Stir in corn straight from freezer. Stir 5-10 minutes until warm throughout. 3. Stir in bacon bits. 4. Salt to taste. 5. Sugar to taste-stirring constantly to keep from burning sugar. |
