What can I say? This falls into the definitely NOT health food category, but what the heck!This isn't actually a recipe, strictly speaking, but these are just too good not to pass on to my cooking friends. Ingredients:
3-4 cups vegetable oil or lard, for deep frying |
1 can of store-bought biscuits |
Directions:
1. Get the oil good and hot in a large skillet. Drop the biscuits into the oil for 2-3 minutes, until golden brown. Drain on several layers of paper towels. Wow, this is good! Try them with honey butter, or just butter, or homemade plum jelly, or of course, chocolate! |
