Serve these fried apples with breakfast or as a side dish to pork, or ham with breakfast. Ingredients:
8 medium granny smith apples, chopped |
1/4 cup butter |
1/2 cup brown sugar |
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon |
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg |
Directions:
1. Melt butter in a heavy skillet over medium-low heat. Add apples, brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. Sauté 15 to 20 minutes, or until apples are tender. |
