Serve with flour tortillas or tortilla chips or as an accompaniment to chicken, fish and other main dishes. Ingredients:
3 medium tomatoes, seeded and chopped (2-1/4 cups) |
1 small green bell pepper, chopped (1/2 cup) |
6 medium green onions, sliced (6 tbsp.) |
3 garlic cloves, finely chopped |
1 medium jalapeno chile, seeded and finely chopped |
2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro |
2 tablespoons lime juice |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
flour tortillas or tortilla chips, if desired |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients except tortillas. 2. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour to blend flavors. |
