A tantalizing combination of strawberries and orange juice, this smoothie gets its shake-like texture from low-fat buttermilk. âThe recipe also works well with other fresh berries,â says Helene Rock of Los Altos, California. Ingredients:
1/2 cup buttermilk |
1/4 cup orange juice |
1-1/2 cups sliced fresh strawberries |
2 tablespoons sugar |
Directions:
1. Place all ingredients in a blender; cover and process for 1-2 minutes or until smooth. Pour into chilled glasses; serve immediately. Yield: 2 servings. |
