A delicious baked strawberry dessert that makes excellent use of fresh strawberries! The aroma coming from the oven is maddening! I highly recommend serving this warm with vanilla icecream. Ingredients:
1/2 cup white sugar |
2 tablespoons flour |
2 quarts fresh strawberries, washed, hulled, and sliced |
1 1/2 cups flour |
1 cup brown sugar |
1 cup butter |
1 cup rolled oats |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375°. 2. In a large bowl, combine white sugar, 2 tablespoons flour, and strawberries. 3. Place strawberry mixture in a buttered 9x13 baking dish. 4. Combine the rest of the ingredients until crumbly. Scatter over strawberry mixture. Bake for 45 minutes. Serve warm with vanilla icecream or whipped cream. |
