I love scones with raspberry jam on it!! As this is one of my fair food fave, but preferrably to make it at home to avoid the sugar added lol I use sugar free raspberry jam or I make my own depends on my mood if I feel like making the jam. Ingredients:
1-3/4 c all-purpose flour |
2-1/4 tsp baking powder |
2 tbsp splenda |
1/2 tsp salt |
1/4 c butter |
2 eggs |
1/3 c half & half |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven 450 2. In large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, sugar & salt 3. Add butter & cut into flour mixture using a pastry blender 4. Separate bowl, combine eggs, half & half 5. Add to flour mixture & stir just til combined 6. Place dough on a floured surface & pat out dough to 3/4 thickness 7. Cut dough into triangle shapes with knife 8. Bake scones in preheated oven for about 15-20 or til golden brown 9. Serve warm with butter & fave jam |
