This is one of those recipes that only takes 15 minutes to make and tastes a million times better than anything from a jar. If you don't have the time to dice the tomatoes, you can pulse them a few times in a food processor. The salsa won't look as pretty, but it will taste just as fabulous. Ingredients:
3 cups diced seeded tomato |
1 cup diced onion |
1/3 cup diced seeded jalapeƱo pepper (1 large) |
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro |
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice |
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl. Cover and chill until ready to serve. 2. Tip: Adults should dice the jalapeƱos and onions in this recipe to avoid teary-eyed kids. |
