There are so many different salsa recipes but we really like this one, which has lots of cilantro. If you don't like cilantro, you may want to hit the back button and look for another recipe! Habanero peppers are among the hottest so be sure to wear gloves and don't touch your eyes while handling them. You can use a jalapeno instead, if you can't take the heat. Ingredients:
1 habanero pepper, seeded and minced |
1 small cucumber, peeled and diced |
4 large plum tomatoes, chopped |
1 cup finely chopped fresh cilantro |
2 tablespoons vinegar |
2 tablespoons olive oil |
1 teaspoon sugar |
1 teaspoon ground cumin |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
tortilla chips |
Directions:
1. Stir together first 9 ingredients in a medium bowl. Cover and chill at least 1 hour. 2. Serve with tortilla chips. |
