After a lot of recipe-less experimentation, I have finally settled on this ideal combination of ingredients for fresh salsa.
Ingredients:
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can tomato sauce
0.5 (14 1/2 ounce) can diced tomatoes
1 tablespoon lime juice
1/2 seeded fresh jalapeno
1 fresh garlic clove
1/2 cup cilantro
1/2 cup green onion
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon salt
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a food processor and blend to a consistency of your liking. Ingredients may be altered according to taste.
2. Allow Salsa to sit refrigerator over night.
