After a lot of recipe-less experimentation, I have finally settled on this ideal combination of ingredients for fresh salsa. Ingredients:
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can tomato sauce |
0.5 (14 1/2 ounce) can diced tomatoes |
1 tablespoon lime juice |
1/2 seeded fresh jalapeno |
1 fresh garlic clove |
1/2 cup cilantro |
1/2 cup green onion |
1/2 teaspoon cumin |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a food processor and blend to a consistency of your liking. Ingredients may be altered according to taste. 2. Allow Salsa to sit refrigerator over night. |
