A fresh, fruity jam from my grandmother. She loves making jams and preserves, and they always come out perfect. Personally, I've never tried making jam because it seems a little daunting, but if you can tackle it with ease, go for it! *Prep time and cook time are the same, I'm estimating.* Ingredients:
4 cups fresh raspberries |
3 cups sugar |
Directions:
1. Combine the raspberries with the sugar in a large saucepan. 2. Cook over high heat, stirring constantly until a jam thermometer (or candy thermometer) reaches 230*-240*F, the soft-ball stage. 3. Ladle the jam into hot, sterilized jars and seal. |
