This is a recipe from my mother in law, I've made it for three different families now and they all loved it! Can be used with any fruit but I always do peaches because they work so well. For a 9 x 13 pan, use 1 1/2 this recipe. Ingredients:
1 cup flour |
1 cup sugar |
2 teaspoons baking soda |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
2/3 cup milk |
1/2 cup butter |
4 -6 ripe peaches, sliced |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients except butter. 2. Melt butter, and pour into a 9 x 9 non-stick pan or glass dish. 3. Pour the batter over the butter. Start in the middle and pour slowly, moving up and down the pan for an even layer of batter. 4. Top with peaches. 5. Bake at 350 degrees F for 45-50 minutes. 6. When done, butter should be baked onto the sides and top, and should be a beautiful golden color. |
