Created by Katy Keck, chef and co-owner of New York World Grill in New York. This came From Kraft Food and Family. I have not tried this recipe, but I'm posting it for safe keeping. Ingredients:
3 cloves garlic |
30 ounces bush's best great northern beans, rinsed and drained (2 - 15.8oz cans) |
3 tablespoons lime juice |
2 tablespoons olive oil |
2 tablespoons fresh basil, coarsely chopped |
1 tablespoon fresh thyme |
1 teaspoon kosher salt |
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper |
Directions:
1. With motor running, drop garlic cloves into a food processor. Add beans, lime juice and olive oil, and puree until smooth. Add basil, thyme, salt and pepper, and pulse until incorporated and herbs are coarsely chopped. 2. Serve chilled with breadsticks, flatbread, crostini or fresh vegetables. |
