Fresh Guacamole With Homemade Tortilla Chips |

Just simple, fresh ingredients- but a mouthful of flavor. Ingredients:
for the guacamole |
8 ripe avocados |
1 handful grape tomatoes |
1 lime |
garlic powder, salt, freshly ground black pepper |
olive oil |
for the chips |
20 small white corn tortillas |
olive oil |
salt |
Directions:
1. for the guacamole 2. Slice the avocado in half, remove the seed. Cut into small squares, and scoop into a large bowl. Roughly mash avocado with a fork. 3. Quarter the grape tomatoes, add to bowl. 4. Zest about half of the lime, and add to bowl, along with its juice. 5. Season with the spices, to taste. 6. Drizzle with a bit of olive oil. 7. for the chips 8. Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Line baking sheets with aluminum foil, set aside. 9. Cut the tortillas into quarters, and brush liberally with olive oil then sprinkle with salt. Place on baking sheets. 10. Bake for 6-10 minutes, until golden and crispy. |
