I grew up on German food because my step mom was German. I recently have reverted back to cooking the food I grew up on. This is one of my favorite, simple. Ingredients:
1 cabbage, shredded |
1 lb bacon, cut in thin strips fried crispy |
1/2 onion, small chopped fine |
3 teaspoons olive oil |
2 teaspoons vinegar |
1 teaspoon salt (to taste) |
1/2 teaspoon sugar |
Directions:
1. Shred the cabbage. 2. Cut bacon into thin strips and fry until crispy. 3. Chop onion until small. 4. Mix all ingredients together and eat fresh (cold is best) enjoy! |
