This has to be the best ice cream I have ever had. The fresh fruit is absolutly great! Ingredients:
3 cups half-and-half |
1 (14 ounce) can eagle brand condensed milk (not evaporated milk) |
1 cup pureed or mashed fresh fruit (strawberries, peaches, bananas, raspberries, etc.) |
1 tablespoon vanilla extract |
food coloring (optional) |
Directions:
1. In ice cream freezer comtainer, combine all inreadients; mix well. 2. Freeze according to manufacturer's instructions. 3. Freeze leftovers. 4. Vanilla Ice Cream: Omit fruit and food coloring. 5. Increase half-and-half to 4 cups. 6. Proceed as above. 7. Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream: Omit fruit and vanilla. 8. Increase half-and-half to 4 cups. 9. Add 2 teaspoons peppermint extract and 3/4 cup mini chocolate chips. 10. Proceed as above. |
