Ingredients:
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 egg, beaten
3 cups fresh corn kernels (about 6 ears fresh corn)
2 tablespoons whipping cream
1 tablespoon butter or margarine, melted
vegetable oil
Directions:
1. Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium mixing bowl; mix well. Combine egg, corn, whipping cream, and butter; mix well, and stir into dry ingredients.
2. Drop mixture by tablespoonfuls into hot oil (375°); cook until golden brown, turning once. Drain on paper towels; serve hot.
