Ingredients:
1 cup all-purpose flour |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 egg, beaten |
3 cups fresh corn kernels (about 6 ears fresh corn) |
2 tablespoons whipping cream |
1 tablespoon butter or margarine, melted |
vegetable oil |
Directions:
1. Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium mixing bowl; mix well. Combine egg, corn, whipping cream, and butter; mix well, and stir into dry ingredients. 2. Drop mixture by tablespoonfuls into hot oil (375°); cook until golden brown, turning once. Drain on paper towels; serve hot. |
