Very quick and nutritious salad, taken from TOH magazine. Ingredients:
3/4 lb chopped fresh broccoli |
1 small green apple, chopped |
1/2 cup chopped red onion |
3 tablespoons bacon bits |
1/2 cup ranch dressing |
4 1/2 teaspoons sugar |
Directions:
1. In a large bowl, combine the broccoli, apple, onion and bacon. 2. In a small bowl, combine salad dressing and sugar. 3. Pour over broccoli mixture, toss to coat. |
