This is a simple recipe to prepare fresh baby food for your baby rather than the expensive jars. It makes 8 cubes, so I put 8 servings since I would consider this a side dish. Ingredients:
1 cup vegetables (potatoes, carrots, yellow squash, green beans, or peas. should be fresh or frozen and cooked without) |
4 -8 tablespoons water (or breastmilk or baby formula, to reach desired consistancy) |
Directions:
1. Puree vegetables and liquid in blender until smooth. Serve or freeze. 2. Note: After trying single foods, try to use combinations such as potatoes and carrots or carrots and peas. |
