A delicious cake to bake in the Fall with lots of seasonings, apples and pecans. Ingredients:
2 cups sugar |
1 1/2 cups cooking oil |
2 teaspoons vanilla extract |
4 eggs |
1/2 lemon, juice of |
1 teaspoon salt |
3 cups flour |
1 1/4 teaspoons baking soda |
1 teaspoon clove |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
1 teaspoon nutmeg |
3 cups apples, peeled and chopped |
2 cups pecans, chopped |
Directions:
1. In large mixing bowl, combine sugar, oil, vanilla, eggs, lemon juice and salt in a mixing bowl. Beat well. 2. In another bowl, mix flour, soda, and spices. 3. Add flour mixtures to sugar mixture and beat well. 4. Bake in a well greased & floured bundt pan for 1 1/2 hours at 325°. |
