FRENCH VANILLA ICE CREAM I obtained this recipe from an estate sale when I purchased the family collection from the Ridings Estate in Grand Prairie, Texas in 1982. Ingredients:
14 ounce can sweetened condensed milk |
2 tablespoons water |
2 egg yolks beaten |
4 teaspoons vanilla extract |
2 cups whipping cream whipped |
Directions:
1. In large bowl combine sweetened condensed milk, water, egg yolks and vanilla extract. 2. Fold in whipped cream then pour into aluminum foil lined loaf pan and cover. 3. Freeze 6 hours or until firm then remove from pan and peel off foil then slice. |
