From the Twinkies Cookbook; submitted by Janine O'Barr. If you're going to cheat on your diet, you might as well get an early start! Times are an estimate, actually comes together faster. Ingredients:
2 tablespoons butter |
4 hostess twinkies |
2 eggs, lightly beaten |
powdered sugar or pancake syrup, for serving |
Directions:
1. Melt the butter in skillet over medium heat. 2. Dip twinkies in egg, coating evenly. Place the twinkies in the hot skillet and cook until lightly browned and crispy on all sides, turning to cook each side. 3. Serve warm, dusted with powdered sugar or drizzled with syrup. |
