French Toast With Apple Raisin Sauce

Ingredients:
4 whole eggsd
2 egg whites
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 cups milk
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
1 loaf french bread (about 20 in long and cut diagonally into 1 inch thick slices)
sauce
3 granny smith apples, peeled, cored and cut in 1/2 in slices
1/4 cup golden raisins
1/4 cup packed dark brown sugar
1/4 cup butter
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Directions:
1. Beat eggs, whites, sugar, salt, milk and cinnamon in bowl.
2. Soak bread in mixture 3 minutes.
3. Arrange bread on lightly greased baking dish.
4. Bake in preheated 375 degree oven 25 minutes until center is slightly dry.
5. Simmer sauce ingredients in large saucepan for about 10 minutes or until apples are tender; stirring occasionally
6. Serve sauce warm over toast.
