French Toast With A Twist |

French toast for those who could do with a little flavour. Ingredients:
3 eggs |
1/4 c. water |
6 slices brown or whole grain bread (a few days old) |
salt |
pepper |
mixed herbs |
garlic salt |
butter (if you're not using a non-stick pan) |
Directions:
1. In a bowl beat eggs and water. 2. To the egg and water mix add mixed herbs, salt, pepper and garlic salt to taste. 3. Soak each slice of bread in the mixture. 4. Cook each slice in a pan till golden brown on both sides. 5. A healthy alternative to traditional french toast. |
