A French toast variation with egg whites and a bit of sweetness Ingredients:
4 slices whole wheat bread |
2 egg whites |
1/2 cup skim milk |
1 tablespoon brown sugar |
oil (for frying) |
Directions:
1. Beat the egg whites with the milk and sugar. 2. Heat a frying pan and grease lightly with oil. 3. dip both sides of the toasts in batter and fry on both sides. 4. serve with maple syrup or banana. |
