This is so easy to make! It's great and tasty for brunches or breakfasts when all the family is home! (Can be prepared up to the night before, or 1 hour before baking!) Ingredients:
1 loaf (16 ounces) pepperidge farm cinnamon swirl bread, cut into cubes (or use your favorite cinnamon bread!) |
6 eggs, beaten |
3 cups milk |
2 teaspoons vanilla extract |
confectioner's sugar for sprinkling |
Directions:
1. PLACE bread cubes in greased 3-quart shallow baking dish. 2. Mix eggs, milk and vanilla. 3. Pour over bread. 4. Cover and refrigerate 1 hour or overnight. 5. When ready to bake, remove from refrigerator and uncover. 6. BAKE at 350 degrees F for 50 minutes or until golden. 7. Sprinkle with confectioner's sugar. 8. Serve with pancake syrup, if desired. |
