French Toast Buttermilk Syrup |

This french toast syrup is served here locally in utah at a restaurant called Magleby's. It is SO delicious! I couldn't find it on here so I thought I'd share! Enjoy! Ingredients:
2 cups sugar |
1 cup butter |
1 cup buttermilk |
2 tablespoons corn syrup |
2 teaspoons vanilla |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
Directions:
1. Bring first four ingredients to a boil. Boil for 3 to 4 minutes. Add vanilla and baking soda. 2. Can store in fridge for 2 - 3 weeks. Reheat in microwave. 3. This can be served with other things besides french toast like waffles, crepes and ice cream! |
