This is an interesting but DELECTABLE way to have a beef stew. It is easy, too. This serves 8.
Ingredients:
2 lbs beef stew meat
2 cups water
2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons dry tapioca
2 onions, coarsely chopped
2 tablespoons breadcrumbs
2 beef bouillon cubes
2 (4 ounce) cans mushrooms, undrained
1/2 cup red wine
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients,.
2. Bake for 4 hours uncovered at 300°F, OR bake covered for 3 hours.
3. Add more liquid if needed.
