This is an interesting but DELECTABLE way to have a beef stew. It is easy, too. This serves 8. Ingredients:
2 lbs beef stew meat |
2 cups water |
2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce |
2 tablespoons dry tapioca |
2 onions, coarsely chopped |
2 tablespoons breadcrumbs |
2 beef bouillon cubes |
2 (4 ounce) cans mushrooms, undrained |
1/2 cup red wine |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients,. 2. Bake for 4 hours uncovered at 300°F, OR bake covered for 3 hours. 3. Add more liquid if needed. |
