This recipe comes from my friend Pat. Make sure to add soda last. Ingredients:
1 cup raisins |
1/2 cup sugar, less 3 tbsp |
1 cup sour cream |
2 egg yolks |
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon |
1 pinch salt |
1/3 teaspoon baking soda |
Directions:
1. Mix together all ingredients except soda 2. Cook stirring constantly until foam disappears. 3. Remove from heat. 4. Add soda. 5. Pour into baked pie shell. 6. Top with meringue. 7. Bake like any meringue. |
