This is a delicious frozen chocolate pie in a peppermint ice cream crust. Change the flavor of the crust if you aren't a fan of peppermint. Looks good, tastes good. Ingredients:
1 pint peppermint ice cream |
1/2 cup butter |
3/4 cup sugar |
1 sq. bitter chocolate |
1 tsp. vanilla |
2 eggs |
Directions:
1. Let ice cream soften then work it around to cover sides and bottom of a pie pan. Make ice cream low in the center of pan. Freeze. 2. Melt chocolate. Cool. 3. Cream butter & sugar with mixer on high. 4. Add chocolate and vanilla to mixture. 5. Add 1 egg. Beat 5 minutes. 6. Add 2nd egg and beat 5 minutes. Pour into crust and freeze. 7. Lay sheet of wax paper over till time to serve. |
