French and Western are similar right? They are both red! When I was little, the only time I had salad was at my grandma's house, and it could only be with the red dressing. Ok, that still holds true. But still, I figure a home made version of the dressing would be pretty cool! Ingredients:
2 cups ketchup |
1 1/2 cups vinegar |
4 cups white sugar |
2 large onions, grated |
2 teaspoons dry mustard |
2 teaspoons paprika |
6 teaspoons salt |
2 cups salad oil |
Directions:
1. Place all ingredients in a blender an dmix- or in a shaker and blend. 2. Suggest cutting the recipe to 1/2 or 1/4 according to need. |
