Mom used to make this when we were kids.Always a hit in our house! Great side dish! Ingredients:
6-8 large baking potatoes,sliced into thin pieces |
1/2 large yellow onion,shredded or diced |
black pepper |
butter |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. 2. In a casserole pan,place a thin layer of potatoes,onion,butter pats and sprinkle with black pepper. 3. Repeat until you reach the top of pan or run out of ingredients. 4. Cover with double layer of foil and bake approx.45-50 minutes,or until potatoes are tender when poked with a steak knife. 5. YUM!! |
