Easy oven stew.Excellent taste Ingredients:
2 lbs stew beef,cubed |
2 medium onions,sliced thin |
3 stalks celery,sliced |
4 medium carrots,sliced |
1c. tomato juice |
1/3 c. tapioca |
1tbs. sugar |
1tbs. salt |
1/4tsp. pepper |
1/2tsp. basil |
2or 3 potatoes,cubed in medium pieces |
Directions:
1. Combine all but potatoes in a 21/2 Qt. casserole. Cover,bake at 325 for 31/2 hours. Put potatoes in for the last hour. Stir occasionally. |
