A crusty topping of parmesan cheese and onion soup mix adds lots of flavor to these rolls. Great with soup or a salad. Ingredients:
2 (1 lb) frozen bread dough, thawed |
1 cup grated parmesan cheese |
1 (1 ounce) envelope onion soup mix |
1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine, melted |
Directions:
1. Divide the bread dough into 20 portions; shape each into a ball. 2. In a bowl, combine the parmesan cheese and soup mix. 3. Place melted butter in another bowl. 4. Roll each ball in butter, then in the cheese mixture. 5. Arrange in a greased 13-in.x 9-in.x 2-in. baking dish. 6. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 45 minutes. 7. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from pan to a wire rack. Serve warm. |
