Beautiful cookies, great for any occasion, you can even dip them in melted chocolate to give them a fancier effect. Ingredients:
1 cup all-purpose flour |
1 cup pecans, finely chopped |
1/2 cup butter or margarine |
1/2 cup light corn syrup |
2/3 cup brown sugar, firmly packed |
Directions:
1. Combine flour and pecans in a large mixing bowl, set aside. 2. Combine remaining ingredients in a medium saucepan, bring to a boil and remove from heat. 3. Cool, add flour mixture, mixing well. 4. Drop dough by teaspoonfuls 4 inches apart onto a well-greased cookie sheets. 5. Bake at 325 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned. 6. Cool 2 minutes before removing from cookie sheet. 7. Makes about 5 dozen |
