French fries means potatoes fried in the French sense of the verb to cook by sauteing or deep-grease frying, while its French origin, frire, unambiguously means deep-frying .
Ingredients:
1 russet burbank potato
oil
1 tsp kosher salt
1 tsp all purpose four
1 tsp pepper pwd
Directions:
1. Heat the oil .
2. Peel potatoes and cut into strips .
3. Dip in cold water .
4. Drain it , removing any excess water .
5. Dust them with the seasoning .
6. When oil gets hot , drop the fries in the oil .
7. Fry for 3 minutes until golden brown .
8. Remove and drain .
9. Heat the oil again and deep fry until crisp for 2 minutes .
10. Remove and drain on roasting rack .
11. Keep them warm .
