French Cream To Serve With Fresh Fruit

Wonderful creamy, rich dip to serve with fresh fruit. Real whipped cream is a must though. Very popular.
Ingredients:
1-8 oz. cream cheese
1 cup icing sugar
1 cup whipping cream
1/4 cup sugar
1 lemon
Directions:
1. Beat cream cheese with hand mixer until smooth, add icing sugar and beat until well blended.
2. Beat whipped cream and sugar until soft peaks form.
3. Add whipped cream mixture to cheese mixture together with zest of 1 lemon and the lemon juice squeezed from the lemon and beat all together until well blended.
4. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight. Keeps well for up to 3-4 days.
5. Serve with fresh, seasonal fruit.
