This luscious frosting recipe has been in my family for several generations. It is rich and creamy, yet light and fluffy at the same time. Ingredients:
3 tbs. flour |
3/4 cup milk |
1 cup butter, softened |
3/4 cup sugar |
1 tsp. vanilla |
Directions:
1. In a small saucepan, combine flour and milk. 2. Cook over low heat until it is thick enough to form a paste. 3. Set aside to cool. 4. Cream together butter and sugar. 5. Add cooled flour and milk to cream mixture; beat with electric mixer until smooth. 6. Add vanilla; beat well to incorporate. |
