I JUST THOUGHT OF THIS AND MADE IT BEFORE I GOT TO WORK THIS MORNING - TURNED OUT PRETTY GOOD - ENJOY! Ingredients:
4 slices of bread(i used wheat) |
butter or margerine(i used margerine -easier to spread) |
powdered sugar-about 1/2 a cup |
cinnamon 1 -2 teaspoons |
Directions:
1. HEAT LARGE SKILLET MED-HIGH HEAT 2. MIX POWDERED SUGAR AND CINNAMON-HAVE READY TO SPRINKLE 3. BUTTER 1 SIDE OF 2 SLICES OF BREAD 4. PLACE BUTTER SIDE DOWN IN SKILLET 5. BUTTER TOP OF BREAD IN SKILLET(BE CAREFUL) 6. SPRINKLE CINNAMON MIXTURE ON TOP OF BUTTERED BREAD WHILE IT IS FRYING 7. BUTTER LAST 2 SLICES OF BREAD PLACE ON TOP OF SLICES IN SKILLET - BUTTERED SIDE UP 8. BY THIS TIME IS SHOULD BE BROWN ENOUGH TO FLIP 9. BROWN OTHER SIDE 10. REMOVE FROM PAN AND SPRINKLE BOTH SIDES WITH CINNAMON SUGAR MIXTURE 11. DIG IN! |
