I had frenchbeans in the freezer and i love tomatoes so i just came up with something on my own. You also could use mixed veggies instead, like carrots, corn and cawlieflower. Ingredients:
2 cups whole wheat flour |
1 cup hot water |
2 teaspoons sunflower oil |
1 pinch salt |
400 g french beans |
1 (8 ounce) can mashed tomatoes |
3 garlic cloves |
1 pinch ground ginger |
1 pinch salt |
1 pinch pepper |
1 cup light cream |
Directions:
1. Put all the dough ingredians into the food processor and mix until the dough is soft but not sticky, you might need to add water our flour. 2. Make a daughball and put it into a small plastic bag and into the fridge. 3. Meanwhile, defrost the green beans or cook until softened. 4. Mash them a little together with the tomatoes and add the spices. 5. Flatten out your daugh and put 2/3 of it into a buttered pie-tray. 6. Put the filling inside and pour the cream over it. 7. Put the flattened out rest of daugh over the tray and close upp. 8. With a folk, make some little holes into your potpie and bake it for 45min or more at 180 degrees celsius. |
