Ingredients:
1 pie crust |
1/2 cup(s) granulated sugar |
1/4 cup(s) cornstarch |
1/2 teaspoon(s) nutmeg |
1/4 teaspoon(s) cinnamon |
1 pinch(s) salt |
6 cup(s) tart baking applies (4-5 medium) cored, peeled & thinly sliced |
1 cup(s) flour |
1/2 cup(s) brown sugar firmly packed |
1/2 cup(s) butter diced |
Directions:
1. DIRECTIONS: 2. NOTE: Prepare pie crust according to directions on package for 1 filled crust pie. 3. Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix sugar, cornstarch, nutmeg, cinnamon and salt into bowl. Stir in sliced apples. Spoon apple slices into pie plate. 4. To prepare crumb topping: mix together flour and brown sugar, sprinkle with a little cinnamon. Blend in butter or margarine until crumbly. Sprinkle crumb topping over pie. Bake pie on sheet pan for 1 hour 30 minutes |
