Ingredients:
1 pie crust
1/2 cup(s) granulated sugar
1/4 cup(s) cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon(s) nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon(s) cinnamon
1 pinch(s) salt
6 cup(s) tart baking applies (4-5 medium) cored, peeled & thinly sliced
1 cup(s) flour
1/2 cup(s) brown sugar firmly packed
1/2 cup(s) butter diced
Directions:
1. DIRECTIONS:
2. NOTE: Prepare pie crust according to directions on package for 1 filled crust pie.
3. Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix sugar, cornstarch, nutmeg, cinnamon and salt into bowl. Stir in sliced apples. Spoon apple slices into pie plate.
4. To prepare crumb topping: mix together flour and brown sugar, sprinkle with a little cinnamon. Blend in butter or margarine until crumbly. Sprinkle crumb topping over pie. Bake pie on sheet pan for 1 hour 30 minutes
