Freezer to Oven Smothered Chicken |

Necessity IS the mother of invention! Ingredients:
3 -5 large chicken pieces, frozen |
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of chicken and mushroom soup |
1 (8 ounce) container sour cream |
2 tablespoons sherry wine |
1 tablespoon dried onion flakes |
1/2 teaspoon mrs. dash seasoning mix |
1 (8 ounce) can mushrooms, drained |
1 cup green beans, frozen |
Directions:
1. Please frozen chicken pieces in a covered baking dish. 2. In a bowl whisk together one can of Campbell's Cream of Chicken & Mushroom soup with an 8 oz container of sour cream, 1 tbsp minced onion, 1/2 Mrs. Dash, and 2 T of sherry. 3. Mix well, and pour over chicken. 4. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. 5. Remove from oven and add either fresh or canned mushrooms, and the fresh or frozen green beans. 6. Mix into the sauce with the chicken, replace cover and return to oven to bake 45 minutes to an hour. 7. Let rest 10 minutes during which you can finish preparing the rest of the dinner. 8. Serve with creamed potatoes or rice. |
