This is a great, easy recipe for the freezer.
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1 1/2 cups chopped onions
1 (12 ounce) can tomato paste
3 (28 ounce) cans of plain crushed tomato puree
2 cups water
4 teaspoons minced garlic
4 bay leaves
2 tablespoons sugar
4 teaspoons basil
2 teaspoons oregano
4 tablespoons fresh parsley
2 teaspoons salt
Directions:
1. Cook ground beef and onion until the meat is browned; drain fat.
2. Add remaining ingredients.
3. Bring to a boil; reduce heat.
4. Partly cover and simmer for 2 hours.
