This is a great, easy recipe for the freezer. Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef |
1 1/2 cups chopped onions |
1 (12 ounce) can tomato paste |
3 (28 ounce) cans of plain crushed tomato puree |
2 cups water |
4 teaspoons minced garlic |
4 bay leaves |
2 tablespoons sugar |
4 teaspoons basil |
2 teaspoons oregano |
4 tablespoons fresh parsley |
2 teaspoons salt |
Directions:
1. Cook ground beef and onion until the meat is browned; drain fat. 2. Add remaining ingredients. 3. Bring to a boil; reduce heat. 4. Partly cover and simmer for 2 hours. |
